The latest provincial nominee draws or PNP draws were conducted by British Columbia and Prince Edward Island. The PEI PNP draw was held on 28th October while BC PNP held one on 30th October 2024. Through both these draws, over 174 candidates have been invited to apply for a provincial nomination.
British Columbia Latest PNP Draw
British Columbia conducted the latest PNP draw on 30th October 2024. The total number of invites issued was over 83. There were five rounds of draws in total, one for general and the other targeted.
The general round draw detail:
- 31 ITAs issued to
- Skilled Worker Stream and International Graduate Stream (including EEBC option)- 134 points
- Entry Level & Semi-Skilled – 117 points required
Targeted rounds are:
- Childcare category- 20 candidates can apply for provincial nominee if they scored at least 90 EOI points
- Construction category- 20 invitations to apply issued to those who have at least 96 points
- Healthcare category- 104 was the minimum score threshold for the 12 applicants invited
- Veterinary care category- less than 5 ITAs issued to those with at least 80 points
These invited candidates may only apply to the Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option) streams.
Latest PEI PNP Draw
Through the latest PEI PNP draw, the province invited a total of 91 applicants. These ITAs have been issued based on this way:
- 2 ITAs for Work Permit stream
- 89 ITAs for Labour and Express Entry stream
- These were issued to applicants who are already working in the province in one of the following sectors
- Healthcare
- Construction
- Manufacturing
- These were issued to applicants who are already working in the province in one of the following sectors
