The latest Alberta draws invited 527 candidates to apply for provincial nomination for a faster Canada PR process. They are invited to apply to the Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS). These candidates have been invited via two rounds of draws, held on 22nd and 27th November. The draw details are present below.
AAIP Draw of 22 Nov 2024
This draw called for 80 candidates to apply for a nomination, if they met the following criteria:
- Had at least 40 EOI points
- Had a work permit
- Scored at least CLB/NCLC 5
- Had a work experience of a minimum of 12 months
- Received a job offer to work for full-time in the province
- If their job requires registration or licensing to practice in the province, they meet its requirements
- Job offer should should be in either moderately or high demand, and that too in Alberta’s healthcare sector
- Job offered should not be eligible for Dedicated Healthcare Pathway
AAIP Draw of 27 Nov 2024
Through Alberta’s latest draw, it issued 447 invitations to apply. Candidates were invited if they met the following criteria:
- Scored at least 71 EOI points
- Had a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)
- Their work permit will expire on 25th February 2025 or after that
- Education was completed in Alberta
- Scored at least CLB/NCLC 4
- Had work experience of a minimum of 6 months or more
- Received a job offer to work in Alberta (must be full-time)
- Employer must not be:
- ineligible under the Alberta Opportunity Stream
- offering a job in NOC’s BOC 1 & 6
