Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP):

SINP offers pathways for internationally skilled workers, Entrepreneurs, and workers with Saskatchewan work experience. These pathways aim to invite skilled and required immigrants to enhance the labour force and economy. Saskatchewan is located in the prairie region and has become a popular destination for candidates due to its unstoppable economic growth and job opportunities. 

Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker pathways has two streams Occupation in Demand and Express Entry. Through these 2 streams of SINP International Skilled Workers, candidates can apply for Canada PR easily. These streams are selecting candidates using an Expression of Interest (EOI).

SINP Occupation In Demand Stream

  • Candidates have to submit at least 1 year of experience in an occupation on SINP including the occupation list.
  • Candidates who are interested must have completed one year of post-secondary education and speak French or English.
  • Applicants have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria and score a minimum of 60 points on their Point Assessment Grid and may submit an EOI profile.

SINP Express Entry stream

Alberta Express Entry Stream

How to Apply for Canada PR in a province?

To apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) in a specific province, follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements for Canadian PR.

Step 2: Use the PR points calculator to determine your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. This score is based on various factors such as age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and adaptability.

Step 3: Complete the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA), which assesses your educational qualifications to meet Canadian standards.

Step 4: Take the IELTS exam to assess your proficiency in the English language.

Step 5: Provide evidence of sufficient funds in your account to cover expenses in Canada.

Step 6: Create an Express Entry profile, ensuring that you fulfill all requirements and attach the necessary documents. Once you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation email from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) containing your final CRS score.

If you meet the CRS score criteria, you will enter the Express Entry pool and await the subsequent draw. Upon receiving an Invitation To Apply (ITA) within 28 to 48 hours after the draw, proceed to the next step.

Step 7: After receiving the ITA for Canadian PR, submit the required documents within the specified deadline.

Step 8: Pay the Canada PR visa fees, which include 950 CAD per person for the application processing fee, 575 CAD for the Right of Permanent Residence fee per person, and 260 CAD per child for dependent children.
