SINP Expression of Interest (EOI) Creation Guide

SINP-Expression-of-Interest-EOI

An SINP EOI or Expression of Interest is an online profile, created by an aspiring immigrant, who wants to immigrate to Saskatchewan through any of its immigration streams. Do NOT confuse it with an application. An SINP EOI is only a pre-application.

Creating an SINP EOI mostly requires you to fill information and only seldom will need you to upload documents.

Under the SINP or Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, there are mainly three categories, which are further divided into various streams. No matter which stream you want to apply for, you will need to create an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile.

If the SINP deems you beneficial for the local economy, it will send you an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the stream for which you qualify.

  2. Create and then log in to OASIS

  4. Give consent to share your personal information
  5. Provide personal details

1. Visit SINP Online Application system

The first step to create an SINP EOI is to visit the SINP online application system or OASIS.

2. Create and then log in to OASIS

After visiting, register yourself as:

  • An SINP applicant or EOI candidate
  • A recruiter or consultant
  • An employer
  • An entrepreneur

To create an account, you will need to create a username, provide your first and last name, and the email address, which will be used in the future to connect with you.

Hit the “Submit” button.

On the email address provided by you, the SINP will send the new password to log in to your account.

3. Create a new password

Once you log in, you will be required to create a new password. Continue with it and keep the password saved for future use.

You must provide consent to the SINP to share your personal information with concerned authority for the purpose of immigration. Once you click on the “I Agree” button, you can then move on to the next stage.

5. Provide personal details

To create an SINP EOI, you need to provide personal information, such as:

  • Your name
  • Gender
  • Marital status
  • Passport number
  • Expiry date of passport
  • Residential details

The EOI system will require you to answer a few more questions. Once you are done, click on “Determine Category” and the EOI system will select the stream you qualify for. In case you don’t want to apply under that particular category, click on “Change Responses”.

6. Review your information

Now, the EOI system will require you to review the personal details provided by you. At this stage, the system will need to make sure that the birthdate and email address provided by you are correct.

7. Declare whether you hired an immigration consultant or not

The next question will ask you to declare whether or not you have hired an immigration consultant. After answering this question, save the EOI details provided by you so far, and then hit “Next”.

8. Answer the EOI points system to gain a score

Now, answer the EOI system and gain points along the way. At the end, you will receive an EOI score out of 110 points.

The EOI system will require you to enter information, such as:

  • Age
  • Education
  • Training
  • Work Experience
  • Language Proficiency

9. Submit the EOI

Now the “Submit the EOI” button will appear and you can click on it. The system will assess the information provided by you and if everything is correct, the SINP EOI will be submitted.

Once the EOI is selected, it is placed in the EOI pool, where other eligible profiles are. If a particular SINP stream picks out your EOI from the pool, you will receive an invitation to apply (ITA) in the OASIS account.
