Since the last Express Entry was held on 24 April, it has been a little over a month but there has been no sign of another draw. Such times have been raising a lot of questions in the candidates’ mind as they wait in the Express Entry pool for the next draw to be conducted. 

Usually, an Express Entry draw is held on every second Wednesdays and subsequently on Thursdays and Fridays. But this time, it’s the fifth week and nothing has happened. At the same time, this is not the first time that IRCC has forgotten about the EE draws. Actually, it has become quite common for EE draws to be unpredictable. But still, we are expecting that the next draw would be conducted on 05 June 2024, Wednesday.

Tips To Increase CRS Score While Waiting In the Express Entry Pool

Express Entry applicants can:

  • update Express Entry profile according to their life circumstances to increase their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score
  • retake a language test, if they hadn’t scored much earlier on 
  • take a second official language test, to further increase their score
  • earn relevant work experience according to primary NOC code as mentioned in the Express Entry profile
  • obtain Canadian education or work experience to boost CRS score
  • obtain a provincial nomination certificate 

You may go for any one or more of the above mentioned tips. The most effective one of them all would be to obtain a nomination certificate. That one way alone could earn you 600 CRS points, which almost guarantees you an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the next draw.
