The Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities for Physicians is one of the best streams for physicians to move to Nova Scotia and establish their lives. This stream allows a smoother and faster application processing as it nominates candidates for the Express Entry system.
Applicants can only apply to this stream for a provincial nomination if they receive an approved job offer from the Nova Scotia Health Authority or IWK and have a valid Express Entry profile.
Once a candidate becomes a provincial nominee, they must wait for IRCC to conduct an Express Entry draw for either PNPs only or a general one. If the candidate is invited by the IRCC in a draw, they can apply for Canada PR.
The NSNP Labour Market Priorities stream for Physicians allows applicants to immigrate to Nova Scotia as soon as within 1 year after being nominated.
