NSNP Experience: Express Entry Stream – Eligibility Criteria
Meet the following criteria to qualify for NSNP Experience: Express Entry stream.
- Your age should be between 21 to 55 years old
- You must have 1 or more years of work experience gained in Nova Scotia
- Your education was either completed in Nova Scotia or obtained an ECA to prove you meet the educational requirements despite having completed your education outside the country
- Have a valid Express Entry profile in the pool
- If you are a skilled worker in the NOC TEER 0 or 1 category, your language test results must demonstrate at least CLB 7. In the case of skilled workers in NOC TEER 2 and 3, the requirement is CLB 5.
To be eligible for the Experience: Express Entry stream, the applicant must meet all of these requirements.

Experience: Express Entry Stream – Application Process
Follow these steps below to learn about how to apply for a nomination through the Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry stream.
Step 1:- If your education was completed outside of Canada, apply for an ECA. Once you get your credentials assessed, create an Express Entry profile and enter the Express Entry pool.
Step 2:- Visit Nova Scotia to apply for a provincial nomination. In the application, mention your intentions to settle in Nova Scotia. You will also need to provide more details regarding your future settlement in the province.
Step 3:- If your application is completely filled out and you have submitted the Express Entry profile number and the job seeker validation code. If you are nominated, you will receive the nomination certificate via email and must accept the nomination within 30 days.
Step 4:- Within 60 days of receiving the nomination, apply for Canada PR to IRCC and wait for the application to be processed.
Step 5:- Once you become a PR, arrive in Canada and inform the NSNP about the same within 30 days. For this, you need to send these documents:
