Latest Provincial Nominee Draws Conducted by Alberta & PEI

The provinces of Alberta and Prince Edward Island have recently conducted draws to invite candidates to apply for provincial nomination. Though Alberta conducted its draws on 2 April and 19 March, the province is used to updating the information later on. On the other hand, the PEI PNP mostly updates the draws on the website as soon as they are conducted.

Latest PEI PNP Draw

Prince Edward Island has nominated 66 candidates from the PEI Express Entry stream on 4th April. Invited candidates were selected on the basis that they were already working in PEI in sectors such as Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Early Childhood Education.

These candidates are nominated and hence can show this nomination in their Express Entry profiles. The nomination will grant them an additional 600 CRS score, which not only increases their chances of receiving an ITA from IRCC but almost secures the PR status for them.

After that, they can apply for Canada PR to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). It’s the IRCC that will make the final decision on the PR application.

Recent PNP Draws of Alberta

Alberta held two latest rounds of PNP draws, one on 19th March and the other on 2nd April. Both rounds sent Notification of Interest (NOI) letters through the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway and a job offer from an Alberta employer.

Since these candidates have received an NOI, they can apply to the Alberta Express Entry stream. If the candidate’s application is approved, they will receive an ITA.

After receiving an ITA, they can apply to the AAIP and their application will enter a pool. If the AAIP approves their application here, the candidate will receive an additional 600 CRS points.

If your Express Entry profile has over 600 CRS score, you are almost guaranteed to receive an ITA in an Express Entry draw. After you do receive an ITA, apply for permanent residency to IRCC.
