British Columbia held its latest PNP draws on 15th August, the same day as Ontario. British Columbia called for over 153 candidates from four targeted occupations, namely- Tech, Healthcare, Childcare, and Other Priority Occupations. All these invitations show that there are many jobs in Canada for foreigners and hence, international skilled workers may apply to them.

British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program Draw
British Columbia routinely conducts its provincial nominee program draw. And the most recent one came out on 15th August, 2023. The province mostly calls for candidates from certain occupations, such as healthcare, childcare, and tech.
But there’s one more category of British Columbia that lacks workers. It’s the Other Priority Occupations with two particular NOC codes. Though there’s not much demand for workers in this category, still, we mostly see candidates being invited from here.

In the latest draw conducted, it issued more than 153 invitations to apply for Canada permanent residency. They all were chosen from these streams- Skilled Worker, and International Graduate (includes EEBC option). The details according to each occupation is listed below:-
- Tech Occupations: 107- Invitations, 88- Minimum Score
- Healthcare Occupations: 27- Invitations, 60- Minimum Score
- Childcare Occupations: 19- Invitations, 60- Minimum Score
