British Columbia conducted its latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw, inviting candidates from various streams. The latest BC PNP draw was held on 16th October 2024 and it invited more than 189 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination.

The general draw focused on inviting candidates for the Skilled Worker stream, International Graduates stream, and Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled stream. 

The general draw issued 102 invitations to apply to candidates based on the minimum score requirements:

  • Skilled Worker stream and International Graduates (including the EEBC option) – 127 points needed to qualify
  • Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled stream – 110 points required

Targeted draws were held for candidates in specific sectors, and all of them can apply either to the Skilled Worker stream or the International Graduates (both include the EEBC option): 

  • Childcare category -38 invitations issued to candidates with a minimum score of 83
  • Construction category- candidates required 89 points and 21 invitations issued
  • Healthcare category – 28 candidates were invited, and the requirement was of 99 points 
  • Veterinary Care – less than 5 invites issued with a score requirement of 80 points
