Popular Immigration Programs
The most specific immigration program to move to the Atlantic provinces of Canada is the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). This particular program helps invite international skilled workers and international graduates to work in specific Canadian provinces.
As mentioned above, the Atlantic region of Canada is seeing a growth in the retention rates of newcomers choosing to settle there. This helps provinces deal with their labor shortage as well.
Other than the Atlantic Immigration Program, you must have heard about Express Entry, the Provincial Nominee Program, Family Sponsorship, etc. Let’s talk about them briefly below.
Express Entry – This is the fastest way to immigrate to Canada. Skilled workers with adequate work experience and high language proficiency can opt for Express Entry.
Provincial Nominee Program – This is the second most popular immigration program in Canada after Express Entry. PNPs help provinces and territories of Canada invite international workers and graduates to grow local economies. Necessary candidates with eligible work experience, language proficiency, and educational background may be able to immigrate to the country through a PNP.
Family Sponsorship – Canadian permanent residents and citizens are able to sponsor their eligible family members and relatives to get residency through the Family Sponsorship program.
