No Educational Requirements for Nurses

If you are a nurse and you are applying through the OINP Express Entry’s Human Capital Priorities or French Speaking Skilled Worker stream, you might not have to meet educational requirements.

If you meet the following requirements, you won’t have to meet the educational requirements to immigrate to Canada through any of the abovementioned streams:

  • You are registered by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), in General, Extended, or Temporary class
  • Your NOC code is one of the following:
    • NOC 31300 (Nursing coordinators and supervisors)
    • NOC 31301 (Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses)

    • NOC 32101 (Licensed practical nurses)
