Alberta and Manitoba conducted the latest PNP draws on 15th and 24th October, respectively. These were provincial nominee draws and held to invite candidates to apply for nomination.
Let’s talk about Manitoba first as it held the latest draws.
Manitoba Latest PNP Draw
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) issued 253 letters of advice to apply (LAAs) to candidates to apply to the following streams:
50 candidates were invited to apply to the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream if they scored at least 872 EOI points out of 1000.
156 letters of advice to apply to the International Education Stream were issued to applicants who declared that they met the stream’s eligibility criteria.
47 candidates received letters of advice to apply to the Skilled Worker Overseas stream if they had at least 703 points.
Alberta Latest PNP Draw
The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program conducted its latest AAIP draw on 15th October 2024, after a long break. However, the information of the draw was released on 24th October.
It was an EOI draw held to invite candidates to apply to the Alberta Tourism and Hospitality Stream. 302 candidates who scored at least 70 EOI points out of 100 and met the draw criteria were invited to apply for a nomination.
The criteria of the draw were:
- Score at least 70 points
- Score at least CLB/NCLC 4
- Have a positive LMIA
- Their work permit must be expiring on 15th Nov, not later
- Have a job offer for full-time work
- Employment offer should be in an eligible Tourism and Hospitality Stream occupation
- Have worked in Alberta for at least 6 months or more
- Employer offering the job must be an Albertan resident and a member of eligible sector associations of the stream
- Their pathway of interest must be one of these- Tourism and Hospitality Stream, Alberta Opportunity Stream, Rural Renewal Stream, Express Entry Stream – Family Connection, or Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors
