On 20th June 2024, Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) held its latest Notification of Interest (NOI) draw. The latest OINP NOI draw selected 212 potentially eligible candidates from the Express Entry pool.
These candidates were selected so they can apply to the OINP’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream, if they are eligible. Moreover, the CRS cut-off range for this NOI draw was 305-409 points. Ontario conducted a general draw this time.

OINP Latest Draw Insights
The draw was conducted for ‘potentially eligible’ candidates who are already in the Express Entry pool. ‘Potentially eligible’ term refers to candidates who might meet the eligibility requirements of the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream. This means, these candidates may or may not be eligible for the stream.
OINP Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream: Eligibility Criteria
Once a candidate receives an NOI and they ensure that they qualify for the stream and have all the documents required, they can apply for a nomination.
The eligibility criteria of OINP’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream to meet are:
- Work Experience: The candidate must have relevant work experience in NOC TEER categories 0, 1, 2, or 3 and be eligible for either Canadian Experience Class or Federal Skilled Worker Program.
- Language Requirements: You need at least CLB level 6 in English or NCLC 7 in French
- Education Requirements: You must have completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD degree, either in Canada or outside.
- Settlement Funds: You must have adequate money to support yourself as well as your dependents in Canada
- Intend to Live: You must have intentions to live and work in the province
- Legal Status in Canada: This is not a mandatory requirement to meet, but if you are already in Canada, your status must be legal.
