First BC PNP Draw of June: 68 Candidates Invited to Apply

The first PNP draw of June is here and it’s BC PNP that issued the invites. The province issued 68 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates. Invited candidates can apply to 2 streams, according to their eligibility:

  • Skilled Worker
  • International Graduates (including the EEBC option)

Invited candidates were chosen based on if they meet the eligibility requirements of the particular priority occupation or category under which they are invited. The selected categories for this round of draw are:

  • Tech
  • Childcare
  • Construction
  • Healthcare

The highest number of invitations are issued under the Tech category. Basically, 33 candidates are selected to apply if they scored at least 122 points and met the other eligibility criteria. 

The second highest number of candidates were for the Construction category. 14 ITAs were issued to those who scored at least 93 scores and met the requirements of this category. 

On the same minimum score requirement, 8 invites were also issued to candidates for the Childcare category. 

As for the Healthcare category, 13 candidates can apply to the relevant stream if they have a score of 100 points or above.
