The Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI) selected 1415 candidates to apply to obtain Canadian PR in the latest Quebec EOI draw. The draw was held on 8th August, however, the department released the information on 16th August.
The requirement of this round of draw was to meet one of the following eligibility criteria sets:
- Language proficiency requirement – level 7 in French oral
- Score at least 576 points
Or
- Had a job offer to work outside of Metropolitan Community of Montreal
- Language proficiency requirement – level 7 in French oral

How to Apply for Quebec Immigration?
To apply to immigrate to Quebec, follow the steps below:
- Create an Expression of Interest
- In the selection grid, score at least 50 out of 90 points. However, if a spouse or a partner is accompanying you, score 59 out of 103/120 points.
- Submit the EOI
- Get invited to apply in an EOI draw
- Within 60 days or 2 months time, apply for CSQ
- Once your application is approved, you will receive a CSQ
- Within 2 years, apply for Canada PR
