Provinces that conducted the latest PNP draw were Ontario and British Columbia. Both the provinces held PNP draws at a one-day gap, meaning, the OINP draw was held on 17th June, while BC PNP draw was on 18th June. Along with these provinces, Quebec also held its provincial draws to nominate candidates for Canada PR. All in all, more than 1,581 candidates were selected in the latest PNP draw updates.

BC PNP Draw – 18 June 2024

The province of British Columbia issued over 70 invitations to apply to the following streams for a provincial nomination:

  • Skilled Worker (includes EEBC option)
  • International Graduate (includes EEBC option)

Number of candidates invited to apply for each priority sectors and the minimum score required are provided below:

  • Tech- highest number of ITAs issued (35), 122 was the minimum score required
  • Healthcare- 14 candidates invited, if they had a score of at least 102 points
  • Construction- 93 minimum score required, 11 ITAs issued
  • Childcare- same minimum score as for those invited for the construction category, 10 ITAs issued
  • Veterinary Care- less than 5 ITAs issued, and the minimum score was 80 points

OINP Draw – 17 June 2024

Ontario held its OINP draw for the EJO: Foreign Worker Stream and EJO: International Student Stream second time in a row. Both rounds of draws invited candidates from the early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202).

106 candidates were invited to apply to the EJO: Foreign Worker Stream, if they had at least 39 points. While 84 ITAs were issued to those with at least 60 points to apply to the EJO: International Student Stream. 

Quebec Draw – 6 June 2024

Quebec held its EOI selection draw on 6 June, nominating 1,281 candidates to apply for permanent residence to IRCC if they had:

  • 587 points or higher
  • At least level 7 in oral French language proficiency, or 
  • A job offer outside the Metropolitan Community of Montreal and met the language requirements
