The BC PNP Health Authority Stream lets health professionals working in British Columbia get established in the province by being nominated. This means, that if you are a health professional who is employed under a health authority in the province and intends to settle down there, you may apply for a nomination through this stream. After nomination, apply for Canadian permanent residency.
The BC PNP Health Authority Stream also offers a way for nomination to nurse practitioners, midwives and physicians. Unlike the BC PNP Skilled Worker stream, the Health Authority stream does not need its applicants to first register themselves.
The BC PNP Health Authority stream also offers the EEBC option to applicants.

A provincial nomination almost guarantees an invitation to apply for permanent residency through the federal Express Entry system. - In-Demand Occupations
Since healthcare is an essential service, job opportunities in this field are generally stable and offer competitive salaries, along with the chance to work in a rewarding and impactful sector. - Work Anywhere in BC’s Healthcare System
Once nominated, healthcare professionals have flexibility in employment across different health authorities, especially in high-demand rural and urban areas.
Common Challenges and Considerations

Healthcare professionals need to ensure their credentials are recognized in British Columbia, which can involve additional examinations or requirements, depending on the profession. - Commitment to BC
The stream is designed to address BC’s healthcare labor shortage. Applicants should be genuinely committed to settling in British Columbia. - Demand for Specific Roles
