Next Express Entry draw to be held today!!
The Canadian government conducts an Express Entry draw every two weeks. Canada’s next Express Entry draw is scheduled for today i.e. November 23, 2022. The express entry immigration program is the most popular and fastest immigration program for Canada PR Visa.
This will be the 236th express entry draw in Canada and the first draw to be held after the implementation of NOC 2021 version 1.0
In this draw, the Express Entry profile with the job offer will be shortlisted on the basis of NOC 2021 instead of NOC 2016.
There is a prediction that the CRS score cut-off can come down for this draw also as the last draw which was the 235th draw held on the 9th of November 2022 was noted with the lowest CRS score cut-off. The CRS cut-off for the 10th all-program Express Entry draw was 494 points, and 4750 applications were invited. While the ITAs issued remain the same from the 234th draw i.e. 4750, the CRS cut-off has been reduced by two points. The CRS cut-off for the 234th draw was 496 while the CRS cut-off for the 235th draw was 494.
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score is assigned to candidates based on a variety of factors including age, language competency, education, job offer, and Canadian work experience. Aside from these parameters, a provincial nomination adds 600 points to an applicant’s total. The CRS score is assigned out of a possible 1200 points.

The Canadian economy is one of the fastest to recover from the pandemic’s crippling impacts. Canada recently issued its Canada immigration plan for 2023-2025 in which the federal government stated that Canada is expecting to invite over 5,00,000 new immigrants into the country.
With that, the implementation of New NOC codes and TEER level Canada resulted in 16 new occupations in the Express Entry program. Canada is in desperate need of talented immigration workers to replenish and grow its fast-changing economy.
