Alberta held its latest PNP draw on 15 July and it invited a total of 26 candidates to apply to the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway. The latest Alberta PNP draw’s minimum score requirement was 306 CRS points. Hence, if a candidate had at least 306, a job offer from an employer in Alberta and was eligible to apply to the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway, they were invited.
This was the second PNP draw held by Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) in July, and so far, the province invited 63 candidates, in all. Since the last 9 rounds of draws, Alberta has only been conducting draws to invite candidates to apply to the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway of the Alberta Express Entry stream.

From the looks of only Dedicated Healthcare Pathway draws, we can conclude that Alberta is in need of healthcare professionals. This is good news for candidates with a valid job offer in a healthcare occupation and eligible for Alberta Express Entry stream. If you are one of such candidates, and you are in the Express Entry pool, you may receive a Notification of Interest (NOI) in the next Alberta PNP draws.
