The latest Express Entry was the second draw exclusively for the French Language Proficiency category in 2024. The CRS cut-off was significantly lower by 29 points. The ITAs issued also saw a drastic decrease of 4500 profiles. Since the launch of category-based draws, IRCC has invited 18,200 applicants through the Francophone category. Eligibility for the 287th Express Entry draw
To receive an Invitation to Apply in the 287th Express Entry draw, the applicant must
- Be eligible for any one of the following federal programs:
- Have an active Express Entry profile in the federal pool
- Have scored 336 points or more in the Comprehensive Ranking System
- Must have scored at least NCLC 7 in TCF or TEF tests. The test score should not be older than 2 years.
Steps after getting an ITA
If you have received an ITA in the latest 287th Express Entry draw,
- Apply to IRCC for Canada PR through the Express Entry within 60 days
- Upload all the documents for identification, age, marital status, education, language proficiency, etc.
- Pay CAN $1365 non-refundable application fee
