BAMS in Canada: Job Opportunities & Requirements

BAMS-in-Canada

BAMS or the Bachelors of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is an undergraduate degree program. After completing BAMS and other required educational programs, you can start working in Canada as an ayurvedic practitioner. If you are looking for jobs such as an ayurvedic practitioner, homeopath, shaman, or a remedial herbalist, you must have studied BAMS in India.

A BAMS degree is required if you want to become a certified ayurvedic practitioner and want to practice your education in Canada. If you are thinking of starting your own business, get a Canada permanent residency visa and immigrate to Canada.

In your immigration application, you may use the NOC code 32209 (other practitioners of natural healing). However, before using a NOC code, research properly and learn about the different NOC codes and their requirements.

Note: Though you cannot pursue BAMS in Canada as a study program, you can still get a job as an ayurvedic practitioner.
