The provincial government of Manitoba has conducted its #185 round of Manitoba Skilled Worker draw on 13 July. This time the province issued 540 invitations to eligible candidates belonging to three streams. Moreover, the lowest score considered in this round of draw was 604.

Skilled Worker in Manitoba
Under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, total candidates invited are 442. Moreover, there are two sub-categories under this stream, namely Occupation-Specific Selection, and All Occupations.
Occupation-Specific Selection
Those candidates who belong to occupations that are currently in high demand in Manitoba received invitations under this sub-category. Total invitations sent out are- 205, while the lowest ranking candidate had a score of 604.
Let’s take a look at which NOC (2021) occupations and major groups considered were:-
- 3- Health occupations
- 10- Specialized middle management occupations in administrative services, financial and business services and communication (except broadcasting)
- 14- Administrative and financial support and supply chain logistics occupations
- 75- Helpers and laborers and other transport drivers, operators and laborers
All Occupations
Under the All Occupations sub-category, invitations were issued to candidates that were not considered in the Occupation-Specific Selection sub-category.
237 Letters of Advice to Apply sent to those with a score of either 661 or above.

Those profiles meeting the eligibility criteria of the International Education Stream received invitations. 57 invitations were sent out in all.
Skilled Worker Overseas
Those profiles that declared that they were invited directly by MPNP. These candidates were invited under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. Total invitations issued are 41 and the lowest ranking candidate had a score of 774.
