In the most recent draws of British Columbia, we can see that less than 216 candidates were issued an invitation to apply for the permanent residency of the province. The draws of British Columbia usually come out on every Tuesday, but this time they were two days late and arrived on Thursday. Nevertheless, the draws are here, following the Express Entry Draws 245, so let us give you all the information on the minimum score and whatnot.

Which Occupations Received Invitations?
The occupations that are in need consist of Tech, Childcare, Healthcare, and a few other priority occupations.
Does it feel like you have seen this film before? Well, it’s because the province has already been in need of these workers before. Since this month started and all rounds of draws we saw in March, the same occupations have been in the target.
We know that the economy of Canada is in need of more workers, and hence that’s the reason why it is asking for more skilled, semi-skilled, and even international graduates to come and work in the province. While working, these people will also have the opportunity to have a good life in the country. How will this become a reality, you ask? Okay, so first of all, it is not a fantasy to begin with.
The process of immigrating to Canada is not a tough one. Anyone can do it. All you need to do is check if you qualify for the requirements and if you do, then go ahead and simply create an Express Entry profile. You would receive a CRS score and if you have the minimum score, you are eligible to apply for the permanent residence.
What’s the Minimum Score?
- The minimum score to apply for the tech occupation is 85.
- For childcare, healthcare, and other priority occupations workers, the score is 60.
If you have the minimum score, you can grab the permanent residency of British Columbia.
Other Details You Should be Aware of
Why don’t we start with some other things that we should be aware of? This time, the British Columbia provincial nominee program released both targeted rounds of draw.
Around 165 invitations to apply are for the candidates in tech occupation. Now, these can be skilled workers and international graduates, which includes the Express Entry British Columbia option as well.
As for the targeted draws for the workers in healthcare and childcare, both occupations got 23 ITAs or Invitations to Apply.
NOCs 31103, 32104, got less than 5 ITAs, however the minimum score remains the same as for workers in childcare and healthcare, which is 60.
