1. Express Entry
The Express Entry program provides a pathway for skilled candidates who wish to immigrate to Canada. Three types of federal immigration programs are supported by this program: Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Express Entry profiles must be submitted in the express entry pool for consideration for these programs.
In addition, the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) will give each Express Entry profile a score out of 1200 points based on a variety of key factors such as age, language ability, education, experience, and adaptability. To apply for Canada PR, the candidates with the highest CRS score will receive an ITA (Invitation to Apply) from IRCC.
2. Provincial Nominee Program
Provincial Nomination Programs (PNPs) are offered by each of Canada’s ten provinces and three states. Even if a candidate’s CRS score is poor, they may be eligible for an ITA if they are nominated by a province. After receiving the nomination, they will receive 600 points and be eligible for permanent residency. This program can be beneficial for those candidates who want to immigrate to Canada but have low CRS scores.
3. Business Immigration
For those who wish to immigrate to Canada and start their own or take over an existing business, this program offers a pathway to Canada PR. A candidate who wishes to start a business in Canada normally needs to invest a considerable amount of money into it.
According to the curriculum selected by candidates, the amount required will vary. For those interested in starting a business in a less populous area, several PNPs offer regional entrepreneur programs with lower investment requirements.
4. Family Sponsorship
In this program, candidates sponsor their parents or grandparents to immigrate to Canada and be the permanent resident of Canada. In this program sponsors need to prove their eligibility in order to sponsor their parents or grandparents or any other family member.
Does Canada accept immigrants?
Canada is one of the immigrant-friendly countries, which welcomes thousands of immigrants every year, but mostly Canada emphasizes skilled immigrants. Canada generates employment for those candidates so that they can contribute to strengthening the economy of Canada. Therefore, Canada is one of the favourable destinations for skilled immigrants who are looking for better job opportunities so that they can start their lives from a new end.
For all those candidates, Canada has launched an immigration program i.e. Express Entry program through which all the eligible candidates can immigrate to Canada and settle their life in Canada permanently.
To be eligible for the programs candidates have to earn some points that will be granted based on some major factors.
