The OINP points calculator scores the Expression of Interest (EOI) of candidates aiming to settle in Ontario. Based on this score, the OINP invites the eligible applicants to apply for provincial nomination. After you get an invitation in the OINP draws, you will become eligible to apply to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program. Upon approval, the OINP will issue you a provincial nomination letter. Once you become a provincial nominee, apply for a Canada PR through PNP within six months.

What happens after getting a score in the OINP points calculator?
After you get a score in the OINP points calculator, your Expression of Interest (EOI) enters into a pool of similar candidates. Ontario announces draws to issue ITAs or Invitation to Apply. If you get the ITA in the draw, you have 14 days to apply to the OINP for provincial nomination.
At this stage, you must upload all documents to support the points you earned in your profile. Any inconsistency in your documents might risk application rejection.
Submit the OINP application after uploading all mandatory documents and paying the application fee. If OINP approves your application, it will send you a nomination certificate. With this, you will become a provincial nominee.
