The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) introduced new pathways for healthcare and agricultural workers specifically. The provincial government announced the release of these two pathways on 30th August 2024 as a means to bring in required talent and fill in-demand job positions.
The new SINP streams are:
- Health Talent Pathway
- Agriculture Talent Pathway

Why did SINP introduce new streams?
The reason behind SINP’s announcement of new streams is to meet the labour market needs and grow the workforce in the healthcare and agriculture sector.
Moreover, the Health Talent Pathway will further support Saskatchewan’s Health Human Resources (HHR) action plan. Both these pathways will fortify Saskatchewan’s labour market needs by bringing in international talent in required sectors.
Who qualifies for SINP’s new pathways?
The eligibility criteria for both the new pathways are listed below in nutshell.
- The international workers must intend to live in Saskatchewan and work.
- They need to have a valid and SINP-approved job offer from a Saskatchewan employer.
