On May 16, 2023, Saskatchewan PNP held a draw and issued 1044 invitations to apply for Saskatchewan PNP under the Saskatchewan PNP Express Entry & Occupation in Demand stream.
Under the OID (Occupation in Demand) Subcategory of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), the government invited 260 candidates. Furthermore, Saskatchewan has given the most Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for the provincial nomination in the Express Entry totaling 784 candidates. Both subcategories had a minimum scoring requirement of 67 points.

What Is SINP?
SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program) has long since discontinued its immigration strategy of inviting potential migrants via the ‘First Come, First Serve’ process. The Expression of Interest (EOI) mechanism is creating for inviting migrants through SINP under Occupations in Demand or Express Entry sub-categories.
Expression of Interest in SINP: What is it?
A pre-application process called an Expression of Interest requires candidates for the OID and Express Entry streams to complete an online form outlining their pertinent qualifications and interest in applying to the SINP. The data must be enter in compliance with SINP requirements.
The eligible candidate who receives the highest EOI score will receive a “Invitation to Apply.” Not all candidates in the EOI pool will necessarily receive an ITA from the Saskatchewan government. In order to be taken into consideration for SINP permanent residency, an applicant must have at least one EOI profile.

After submitting your EOI profile online, you will be place in the EOI pool with the following qualified applicants:
- The EOI is valid for one year from the date of submission.
- Applicants must have at least one active EOI profile.

- The applicants who have received the most EOI points are invited to submit a full application to the SINP. The invitations are distributed through an Expression of Interest draw.
- SINP employs an electronic system to accept EOIs and nomination applications online, with notifications sent through email.
- At all times, the information in EOI must be correct and accurate. Your EOI profile must be updated on a regular basis so that the province is aware of your most recent profile.
- If the information on the profile is discover to be incorrect or incomplete, the visa will be denied for at least two years.
