The latest PEI PNP draw was held on 20th September 2024 and it issued a total of 48 invitations to apply to candidates. Invited candidates can apply to the Work Permit stream and International Graduate stream.
2 candidates were invited to apply to the Business Entrepreneur stream, if they had at least 97 EOI points. Other 46 candidates were invited if they met any of the following criteria:
- ITAs for those in the Healthcare and Construction sectors
- ITAs for those with an expiring work permit (by the end of this year) in the Trucking and Transportation sectors
- ITAs for those with an expiring work permit (by the end of this year) to apply to the International Graduate Stream

Basic PEI PNP Draw Criteria
The basic criteria based on which candidates are invited in PEI PNP draws are:
- Applicants have to meet a certain skill and work experience requirements
- Applicants need to possess required language proficiency skills
- Educational requirements have to be met by the applicants
- They need to have work experience in industries high-demand in PEI
