Invitations: Labour & Express Entry– 97
Category: Labour & Express Entry
As you can clearly see, there were two different rounds of draws, both conducted on different days.
In the first round of draws, invitations were sent out to only those candidates who submitted their applications under the Labour & Express Entry category. And how many candidates did receive invitations? A total of 97 individuals.
These 97 candidates must have been eligible to start working in Canada, Prince Edward Island to be precise, since this was a Provincial Nominee Program.
No invitations were for those under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur category.
When a candidate thinks of starting to work in Canada, they have several ways to immigrate to Canada. One of the easiest ways to get a Canadian work visa is to apply via Express Entry, and the second easiest way is using provincial nominee draws.
When a candidate applies for a work permit via Express Entry, and they get the permit, they can simply choose to settle anywhere in Canada. However, when they do so via a provincial specific immigration program, they can only work in that certain province.
This is the difference between getting a work permit depending on the immigration program.
Now, let’s talk about the second draws of June.

Categories: Labour & Express Entry and Business Work Permit Entrepreneur
Cut-Off: Business Work Permit Entrepreneur- 82
This was a bigger draw and a total of 122 invitations were sent out to two categories. The first one was for the business and entrepreneur work permit whereas the second one was for Labour & Express Entry invitations
In the former draws, that is under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur, only 4 invitations were sent out. And the minimum point threshold was 82.
For the latter, 118 invitations were sent out under the Labour & Express Entry category. There’s no minimum point requirement for this category.
