The popular PNP of Manitoba province of Canada issued 432 total invitations in its Expression of Interest (EOI) draw. The draw is the 50th EOI draw by Manitoba and was conducted on September 14, 2018.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) issued 200 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) for Manitoba Expression of Interest (EOI) pool of candidates under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream. The minimum cut-off was 721 which means that candidates having 721 score and above are invited to apply. Furthermore, 150 invitations were issued under MPNP’s Skilled Workers Overseas Stream with the lowest-ranked candidate score of 604.
The MPNP draw results are as follows:
- 200 invitations were given to Skilled Workers in Manitoba got LAA with minimum score of 721 points
- 604 invitations were given to Skilled Workers Overseas with minimum score of 150 points and 709 invitations were given with minimum score of 82 point under Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
- The applicants with a close relative residing or past education/work experience in Manitoba are invited to apply by the province. Also, a minimum language proficiency determined by the type of occupation and work experience with at least 6 months of recent work experience in an in-demand occupation has been considered
- The Strategic Recruitment Initiative includes overseas recruitment missions where applicant is interviewed by MPNP representative and the selected candidates are then issued letters of Advice of Apply.
The selected candidates invited by Manitoba now have 60 days to submit their complete application for provincial nomination through their online MPNP account. The applicants who have received letters of Advice to Apply in the September 14 draw will be able to submit an application to IRCC.
