Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held its first draw of the month on 4 July 2024. This round issued 126 letters of advice to apply or LAA to applicants to apply to the International Education Stream or Skilled Worker Overseas stream.
85 LAAs were issued for the International Education Stream. Candidates invited were those whose profiles declared that they met the stream’s eligibility criteria.
41 LAAs were reserved for applicants in the Skilled Worker Overseas stream. The applicants declared that they were already invited by the province under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative and hence were selected in this draw. These applicants also had a score of at least 709 EOI points.
Out of all the applicants invited, 19 LAAs were reserved for those with an Express Entry profile and a job seeker code.

MPNP Draw Notes
If you have not received an LAA even if you met the minimum score requirements, it might be because:
- Your language test result was not valid
- Though you took a language test, you didn’t provide the test number in your EOI
- Even after receiving an ITA from from MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, you didn’t provide the invitation number
Note: When you are creating your EOI, you can see that there’s an option available for you to describe your situation and add more information. It is advised that you use the help text and keep your EOI up-to-date so you can avoid the happenstances such as above.
