Latest PNP Draws: Three Canadian Provinces Issues 3300+ ITAs

This week, three draws were conducted by the provinces of Canada. These provinces were British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario. The latest PNP draws were held on 10th and 11th Jan, 2024. Let’s know about these draws!

Latest PNP Draws: First draws of January

Recently, Manitoba and British Columbia have conducted their first draws of this year. While British Columbia chose to hold the provincial nomination draw earlier this year, Manitoba conducted its draw just a day after. 

Ontario was already way ahead of others as the first provincial nomination draw of 2024 was conducted by none other than Ontario on 9th Jan, 2024. 

When it comes to the list of provinces that invite the most candidates, Ontario tops the chart. Hence, establishing its reputation, just two days after inviting 1,451 candidates from the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream, Ontario issued 2,225 ITAs.

British Columbia PNP Draw

This is the first draw of this year of British Columbia, conducted on 10th Jan, inviting more than 372 candidates. The least score considered was 60 points. 

These candidates were invited by various streams, including- Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker, etc. Some of these streams also included the EEBC option. 

The occupations selected this time were:

  • Healthcare Occupations
  • Childcare Occupations
  • Construction Occupations
  • Veterinary care

Manitoba Latest PNP Draw

Manitoba’s first PNP draw of 2024 was held on 11th Jan, 2024. The draw set out 423 invitations to candidates in streams- Skilled Worker in Manitoba, Skilled Worker Overseas, and International Education Stream. 

The least scoring candidate had a score of 607 points.

Ontario Latest PNP Draw

Ontario’s latest PNP draw was conducted on 11th Jan, 2024, issuing 2,552 numbers of interest. The CRS score range considered for this draw was 350-424 points. 

The NOIs were issued to Skilled Trades Stream, targeted for candidates with work experience in specific occupations.

Moreover, the work experience must have been listed under one of the NOC codes as primary NOC in the candidate’s Express Entry profile. 

The considered NOCs codes are:

  • NOC 72010 – Contractors and supervisors, machining, metal forming, shaping and erecting trades and related occupations
  • NOC 72011 – Contractors and supervisors, electrical trades and telecommunications occupations
  • NOC 72012 – Contractors and supervisors, pipefitting trades
  • NOC 72013 – Contractors and supervisors, carpentry trades
  • NOC 72014 – Contractors and supervisors, other construction trades, installers, repairers and servicers
  • NOC 72020 – Contractors and supervisors, mechanic trades
  • NOC 72021 – Contractors and supervisors, heavy equipment operator crews
  • NOC 72022 – Supervisors, printing and related occupations
  • NOC 72100 – Machinists and machining and tooling inspectors
  • NOC 72101 – Tool and die makers
  • NOC 72102 – Sheet metal workers
  • NOC 72103 – Boilermakers
  • NOC 72104 – Structural metal and platework fabricators and fitters
  • NOC 72105 – Ironworkers
  • NOC 72200 – Electricians (except industrial and power system)

  • NOC 73200 – Residential and commercial installers and servicers
  • NOC 73201 – General building maintenance workers and building superintendents
  • NOC 73202 – Pest controllers and fumigators
  • NOC 73209 – Other repairers and servicers
  • NOC 73400 – Heavy equipment operators
  • NOC 73402 – Drillers and blasters – surface mining, quarrying and construction
  • NOC 82031 – Contractors and supervisors, landscaping, grounds maintenance and horticulture services
