The latest PNP draws of July were held by none other than British Columbia and Ontario. Both the provinces conducted their draws on 16 July 2024.

Latest BC PNP draw invited more than 67 candidates in the latest draw to apply to its Skilled Worker and International Graduates stream (both of them have EEBC option, for those with an Express Entry profile

The priority sectors selected in this draw are:

  • Tech – 34 candidates invited if they had at least 122 EOI scores
  • Childcare – 9 ITAs issued and 94 was the minimum score considered
  • Healthcare – 14 ITAs for those scoring at least 104 EOI points
  • Construction – 95 was the minimum score, and 10 ITAs issued
  • Veterinary Care – less than 5 invites were sent to those scoring at least 80 EOI points

Ontario PNP Draw – 16 July 2024

The latest OINP draw was conducted to apply to the following streams:

Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream

5 candidates were invited from the Economic Mobility Pathways Project (EMPP). 

There was no minimum score requirement. 

Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream

This was the first EJO: In-Demand Skills Stream of this year and it invited 265 candidates in a general draw. The minimum score requirement was 35 EOI points.

Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream

There were two rounds of draws held under the International Student Stream. Altogether, 1263 invitations were issued for two categories:

  • Priority Occupations

424 ITAs were issued to candidates with at least 81 EOI score. The candidates selected under this draw also had a job offer in one of the following NOC codes.
