Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another draw on 24th October, 2023. In the latest Express Entry draw, 1,548 invitations are sent to candidates. It was a Provincial Nominee Program draw, and also its CRS cut-off was at 776 .

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is the government department responsible for conducting the Express Entry draws. These are held frequently to invite eligible candidates for the growth of Canada’s labour market force and economy.
As for the 269th Express Entry draw, total invitations were issued to those with a CRS score equal to or greater than 776. The invitations to apply for permanent residency were for those in the Provincial Nominee Program.
Previous Express Entry Draws
On 10th October, Tuesday, IRCC conducted the last Express Entry draw. Previously, while the number of invitations to apply for permanent residency was high at 3,725, the CRS cut-off was relatively lower at only 500 points.
Further, since it was an All Program draw, eligible candidates scoring 500 points or above received invitations to apply.
An Invitation to Apply (ITA) is the official invitation the candidate receives to apply for Canada PR . After receiving an ITA, the candidate has 60 days to submit a complete Canada PR application, with all the required documents and important information.
Once the candidate submits an application, IRCC will start processing it. Usually, a Canada PR application takes about 6 months to process.
