Canada Summer Jobs is an official government initiative that assists employers in creating jobs for young Canadians across the country. These jobs are only available on the Job Bank for a limited time in order to assist more young people locate them and find jobs in Canada . New positions will be added on a regular basis as they are funded by the Canada Summer positions program.

Objectives of Canada Summer Jobs
The CSJ program’s goals are as follows and are in keeping with the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy:
- Give young people valuable job experiences;
- Respond to national and local priorities to increase labor-force access for children who experience specific hurdles; and
- Make opportunities for youth to grow and improve their talents available
To provide high-quality summer employment opportunities for young people between the ages of 15 and 30, the program offers salary subsidies to companies from not-for-profit organizations, the public sector, and private sector organizations with 50 or fewer full-time employees.
How to submit your application?
You have a few options for submitting your application:
1. Filling out an online application
2. Making use of GCOS, the Grants and Contributions Online Services

A project is an application that must submitted. Activities cannot begin until your project approve and both the recipient and Service Canada have signed an agreement. The receipt of a completed application does not imply a commitment by Service Canada. Do not assume any Service Canada commitment until money has been approved and a written agreement signed by a Service Canada representative.
