Temporary Foreign Worker Program

Under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, employers in Canada hire workers from foreign countries for temporary job positions. Canadian employers can only hire international workers when the job position cannot be filled by a qualified Canadian worker.

Though the visa under this program is only valid for 6 months, it can still be extended. Moreover, the employed foreign worker can only work for one employer. They will be living in the same province as their workplace.
