Latest British Columbia PNP draw news came out on 6th September, in which a total of 222 invitations were sent out. The minimum score considered while sending out invitations remained the same as previous draws which was 60.

British Columbia has conducted its first draw of the month, September. There were both general and targeted draws which were conducted on 6th September, 2023. 

Closer look at the Invitations

The general category also included tech occupations. Though 160 candidates received invitations to apply for PR, these invitations were separated according to the minimum score and stream from which the candidate belonged:

  • Skilled Worker: 107 (minimum score)
  • Skilled Worker – EEBC option: 107 (minimum score)
  • International Graduate: 110 (minimum score)
  • International Graduate – EEBC option: 110 (minimum score)
  • Entry Level and Semi-Skilled: 89 (minimum score)

There were two targeted draws, one for Healthcare occupations and the other for the Childcare occupations. Both of them invited candidates from the same streams, Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option). 

43 candidates belonging to the Healthcare occupations received invitations. One of the main requirements for them was to have a score either 60 or greater than that. 

19 invitations were for candidates in the childcare sector, whose score had to be 60 or above.
