British Columbia PNP Draw- 225 Candidates can apply for PR

The draws, whether Express Entry or PNP draws, matter a lot. They are the doors to inviting candidates from all over the world and giving them a chance to apply for permanent residency in the country.

In the latest British Columbia PNP draw, the province invited 225 candidates so they could apply for permanent residency in Canada.

Minimum Score: General- 89 ; Targeted- 60

Occupations: General (including tech) ; Healthcare ;  Childcare

Candidates Invited from which Occupations?

Some candidates belonged exclusively to healthcare professions, and childcare occupations. While on the other hand, a larger portion of the candidates were selected under the general category. Also, let’s not forget that the general category includes tech occupations too.

The candidates in the latest draw conducted by British Columbia belong to different occupations. Some occupations were specifically targeted, while others were kept in the general category. 

Minimum score for the target occupations, that is healthcare and childcare, reminded the same as previous draws, that is 60. 

As for the general category, the minimum score differed according to the stream from which candidates belonged. The streams along with their minimum scores are mentioned below: 

  • Skilled Worker: 108
  • Skilled Worker – EEBC option: 108
  • International Graduate: 111
  • International Graduate – EEBC option: 111
  • Entry Level and Semi-Skilled: 89
