Express Entry draws awaited
The last Express Entry rounds of invitations were held on the 23rd November 2022. Since then, there has been no Express Entry draw. The foremost reason for this is the technical glitch caused due to the implementation of the new NOC codes.
With the advent of the Bill-C 19, Express Entry is expected to become even more responsive to the Canadian labor market requirements. Rather than depending entirely on the point based Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS), there will be more targeted Express Entry draws inorder to meet acute labor shortages in specific industries and fields such as healthcare.
