The most recent Alberta PNP draw came out on 3rd October, 2023. In the latest round, 33 eligible candidates with a valid job offer from an employer in Alberta received NOIs. A Notification of Invitation (NOI) letter instructs candidates to apply for permanent residency in Canada. 

The draw selected eligible candidates from the Agriculture Occupations, and the lowest CRS score considered was 313 for this round. Candidates who received NOIs from the latest round of draw will receive additional 600 points, which increases their chances of getting Canada PR

In the latest Alberta PNP draw, the total number of candidates invited are 33 from the Priority Sector of Agriculture occupation. In this round of Alberta draw, the lowest ranking candidate scored CRS 313.

A Quick Glance at the Previous Rounds of Draw

The previous round of the Alberta draw came out on 26th September. This one sent out notifications to candidates in the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway. The other requirement for this draw was that the candidates must have had a valid job offer from an employer in Alberta. The lowest CRS score in the previous round of draw was 311.  

The round of draw before this one was conducted on 14 September, in which 142 candidates from the Family connection and primary occupation in demand received notifications. The lowest CRS considered in the draw was 301. 

As one can see from the previous draws, Alberta has been issuing notifications to different streams. In the latest draw, the occupation considered was Agriculture, while in the previous ones, it was Dedicated Healthcare Pathway and the Family connection and primary occupation in demand. 

Moreover, the CRS cut-offs are not too high. Most of the candidates can score this much CRS score and may also be eligible for a notification of invitation letter from the province. 

By inviting candidates from different occupations, Alberta is trying to handle labour shortages in various industries of the province. So, no matter which occupation a candidate belongs to, their chances of receiving an NOI from Alberta still looks good.
