The Canadian province of Alberta conducted a PNP draw in which it invited candidates for permanent residency. The candidates belonged to the stream Family Connection which is also one of the primary occupations and in demand stream. The number of candidates invited overall was 168. And, the lowest Comprehensive Ranking System score considered was 302.

British Columbia also conducted a draw recently, on 29th August to be precise. The draw invited more than 150 candidates from four occupations that are also facing some serious labor shortages. As analyzed, the rounds of draws were targeted.
So, the targeted occupations were Tech, Childcare, Healthcare and Other Priority Occupations. Moreover, the candidates were invited from the streams of Skilled Worker and International Graduates (including the Express Entry British Columbia option). Details of the draw are mentioned below:
- Tech Occupations: Invitations- 102 ; Minimum score- 88
- Childcare Occupations: Invitations- 28 ; Minimum score- 60
- Healthcare Occupations: Invitations- 20 ; Minimum score- 60
- Other Priority Occupations: Invitations- less than 5 ; Minimum score- 60
