Which streams are in demand?

As said before, healthcare workers, childcare professionals, and tech workers are actually in demand in British Columbia as of now. We have seen this routine time and again in the previous draws. It seems that the province is calling for more workers in these particular streams because it is in need of more skilled workers in it. The labor market of British Columbia is inviting more foreign skilled workers to come and fill the labor gap so that the province could grow stronger in those fields.

Minimum Scores Needed?

For the general draws, which means for the tech workers too, the minimum score to apply for permanent residency is 85. While for the targeted draws, the minimum score needed is 60.

In the general draw stream, around 202 workers can apply. For the childcare workers, 34 slots are available. Whereas for the healthcare stream, around 17 invitations to apply are available. On the other hand, for other priority occupations, less than 5 invitations to apply are there in the most recent British Columbia provincial nominee program draws.
