On 14th March, British Columbia released a number of invitations to apply. This is the second BC PNP Draw of March, 2023. In this round around 235 candidates would be able to file for Canadian permanent residency. Do you know that CICC is the immigration body that approves immigration consultants?

On March 14, 2023, the provincial nominee program draws were conducted and as a result, British Columbia granted, almost, around 235 invitations to apply for provincial nomination to its candidates.

This time British Columbia opted for targeted draws. In addition, this time its aim was skilled laborers, along with international graduates who seek immigration to the province.

In its first round targeted draws, British Columbia issued 197 invitations to apply. Now, these invitations to apply are to the tech workers. However, candidates need at least a score of 82 in order to apply for permanent residency.

Furthermore, in the second round of targeted draws, the province is calling for workers in healthcare, childcare, and other priority occupations. Now, for them, the minimum score required is 60.

Streams In-Demand: Skilled Workers and International Graduates

BC PNP or the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program invites candidates from only those occupations where the province is lacking workers. Hence, as the labor market of British Columbia changes, so does the priority occupations list.
