1,606 Candidates Invited in Latest PNP Draw Held by BC & Ontario

The most recent PNP draws were held by Ontario and British Columbia on 17th September 2024. These draws altogether invited 1,606 candidates to apply for a nomination. Once nominated, the candidates become eligible to apply for permanent residency.

British Columbia issued 163 invitations in a general and three targeted rounds of draws. The general draw invited 65 candidates to apply to their respective stream out of the ones listed below:

  • Skilled Worker (including the EEBC option) – required 128 minimum score
  • International Graduates (including the EEBC option) – also required at least 128 score
  • Entry level and Semi-Skilled – 110 was the minimum scoring candidate

Through the targeted rounds, BC PNP invited candidates to apply through the following categories:

  • Childcare – 43 ITAs issued, minimum scoring candidate had a score of 83 points 
  • Healthcare – 26 candidates invited, if they had a score of 99 EOI points
  • Construction – 89 minimum score considered, and 29 ITAs were issued 

The candidates invited through the targeted draws can apply via either Skilled Worker or International Graduates stream. Both of them have the EEBC option for applicants.

Ontario PNP Draw

The latest OINP draw was held on 17th September to invite candidates to apply to the Masters Graduate and PhD Graduates stream. Altogether 1,443 ITAs were issued to candidates who may be potentially eligible for the streams. This was a general draw.

For the Masters Graduate stream, 1249 ITAs were issued to candidates who had a score of at least 53 points and above. 194 candidates were further invited to apply to the PhD Graduates stream. The minimum score requirement was 45 EOI points.
