The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) offers various streams for prospective candidates to apply for a provincial nomination. The BC PNP has categorized its stream in the following ways:
- Skills Immigration streams
- Entrepreneur Immigration streams
The Skills Immigration streams are for candidates who have work experience, education, and skills which will help boost the local economy of the province. On the other hand, the Entrepreneur Immigration streams are for entrepreneurs who would contribute to the local economy by building businesses in the province.
No matter which immigration stream you would apply through, you must meet the BC PNP points requirements for it. How these points are calculated is mentioned in this blog.
BC PNP Skills Immigration Points Calculator
Under the Skills Immigration, there are five streams, out of which four has EEBC options:
- Skilled Worker
- Health Authority
- International Graduate
- International Post-Graduate
- Entry Level and Semi-Skilled (ELSS) [Doesn’t offer EEBC option]
The BC PNP Skills Immigration uses a point scoring system to rank candidates when they register for the stream. The candidate does not need to provide any documents to register themselves, but only provide the information asked.
